Stephen and Kendra Tiffin

Stephen and Kendra Tiffin

Stephen was raised in the village of Whitechurch and is the son of Bevin and Ann Marie (Leddy) Tiffin. He attended Lucknow Central Public School and F. E. Madill Secondary School. Stephen has been the treasurer of the Huron Pioneer Thresher and Hobby Association in Blyth, Ontario since 1995 as well as a member of the Teeswater Kinsmen Club and attends the Teeswater United Church where he sits on the finance committee.

Kendra was raised in the village of Wroxeter and is the daughter of Paul and Joyce (Heimpel) Statia. She attended Howick Central Public School, F. E. Madill Secondary School and graduated from Georgian College in 1992. Kendra is the advertising chairperson for the Huron Pioneer Thresher and Hobby Association in Blyth, Ontario, Bulletin Editor and Secretary of the Teeswater Kinette Club and attends the Teeswater United Church.

Stephen and Kendra have two sons Ayden and Rhys who attend Hillcrest Central School and are active in Teeswater Minor Sports. Stephen and Kendra look forward to serving the funeral needs of the Teeswater and area residents for many years to come.

Stephen graduated from the Funeral Service Education Program at Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology in 1992. He served his apprenticeship at the McBeath Funeral Home in Ingersoll. After receiving his funeral director’s licence he started his career with R.S. Kane Funeral Directors in North York. Throughout his career in funeral service Stephen has been fortunate to have gained knowledge while a funeral director with Murphy Funeral Home in Delhi, Edward R. Good Funeral Home in Waterloo and McBurney Funeral Home in Wingham. In 2004 Stephen moved to Teeswater to manage the McPherson Chapel of MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Homes Limited. With Stephen’s extensive experience in all aspects of funeral service, he will provide the families served with true commitment, dedication and compassion.


Dorla Cassidy  Funeral Director's Assistant

Dorla Cassidy was born to the late Brock MacKenzie and the former Dorothy Graham and raised on the 4th concession of Culross Township. A lifelong resident of the Teeswater area she has been involved in numerous community organizations and initiatives. She is married to Graeme Cassidy, co-owner of Cassidy Farm Machinery in Teeswater. Dorla has two children, and is a proud grandma of two grandchildren. A valued member of the funeral home staff, Dorla serves the client families and visitors with an exceptional level of service. Her attention to ensure comfort and compassion at a very difficult time, have become the cornerstone to the services that are provided.
