Surrounded by family, Arnold MacDonald of Teeswater passed away peacefully at Wingham & District Hospital on Sunday, January 1st, 2012 at the age of 88.

Arnold is survived by his wife of 64 years Dorothy (McPherson), his daughters Lois (Bob) Thompson of Kinburn, Heather (Kevin) Brighton of Guelph and his daughter-in-law Gail MacDonald of Guelph.

Arnold will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Andrew, Laura, Christopher, Hilary, Brock and Victoria and his great-grandsons Zaq and Jeremy.
Arnold will also be missed by his sister Vina Kellie of London and his brother Lloyd (Mildred) MacDonald of Waterloo and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by infant daughter Linda (1950), son Larry (2006) and siblings Barthold, Phronie, Eugene, Jack, Ken, and Grace.

Arnold MacDonald was born in Culross Township on December 3rd, 1923 to the late Alexander and Annie (Waugh) MacDonald. Arnold lived in Guelph for many years before returning to Teeswater in 2001. Arnold was a talented woodworker, enjoyed playing cards with friends and spending time with family. Arnold was active in the community and a member of the Teeswater Lions Club.
