Helen Mary Martin (Schefter) formerly of Teeswater passed away peacefully at Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham on Thursday, April 7th, 2011 in her 93rd year.

Beloved wife of Joseph Martin.

Dear mother of Bill and Ruth Martin of Teeswater, Phyllis and George Henhoeffer of Wingham, Mary Houghton and Ray Walker of Wingham, Bob Martin and Vicki McDonald of Kincardine, Jean and Harry Vollmer of Turnberry Township, Elaine Garrett of Oakville, Joyce and Bruce Jermyn of Cambridge and Rick and Patty Martin of Culross Township.

Sadly missed by 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Also survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy Schefter and Darlene Schefter both of Walkerton.

Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Helen was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents Louis and Clara (Moyer) Schefter and siblings George and Mildred Schefter, Mae and George Kennie, Alf and Alvera Schefter, Bert and Jean Schefter, Evelyn and Cyril Huber, Oscar and Caroline Schefter, Lloyd Schefter, Harold Schefter and Madelyn Schefter.
